My blood pressure stays around 190/90 although I have been on Atenolol and Hydrochlorothiazide for over one month. Recently I was monitered for two hours on ECK machine and had a Hemogram & CMP with Istate done. The doctor said the results looked OK. Its obvious something must be wrong for my pressure to be so high. I am just wondering what kind of test you would recommed next. I also have a heart murmur and the doctor says its very loud. I had a echogram done five years ago with normal results. Obviously this situation is making me even more stressed out. Your reply would be greatly appreciated.
