Sounds like you should see a cardiologist. Diabetics do not get chest pain the same way nondiabetics do. Heart damage often causes chest pain in pain, but it's much less common in diabetics.

I am a 70 year old male and have suffered with AF for about 9 years, type 2 diabetes.
My diabetes is reasonably well controlled.
I have arthritis in both knees
Recently I have been having chest pain on left side of heart which seems to make the veins in my neck ache as well, no energy.
To my knowledge I haven’t previously suffered a heart attack
What do you think the problem may be?
