cause of pulling pains in upper abdomen and chest area

i felt a painfull pulling sensation around my upper abdominal area going up to the left side of my chest and i could not take deep breaths  because i felt pains when i tried,like my heart will be crushed by my rib cage. i also felt like i needed a massage to put my breast bones in order. please tell me whats wrong
