I never had any heart problems. I prepared for a colonoscopy by taking this very strong water laxative of drinking lots of glasses of this liquid the day before. When i got on the preparation table the doctor said he saw that my heart was irregular and rapid. I went to my doctor and a cardiologist who declared i had atrial fibrilation.
Later i found out that the evacuation of my bowels also stripped me of electrlites which could have caused the AF.
after many months of trying to get in rhythm with medication I went for electo cardioversion and was immediately set back to normal rhythm.
Now doctors want me to be on coumadin the rest of my life and I want to stop considering i check my pulse frequently and know exactly what irregular heart beat feels like.
I want to stop considering all the side affects and lifestyle changes necessary to maintain what the doctors consider the right dosage.
I feel fine, walk a mile a day, swim and do lots of yard work and never have any indications of any problem.
I need something to help me deal with these warfarin and PT/INR test pushers.
