aching pain behind my knee. not constant more like a pulsing throbbing ache.

I have Rheumatoid Arthritis but this is not in my bone it is in the soft area behind my knee and up on my thigh a little.  It has gotten a bit worse in the past hour.  It is like a headache in my leg.  I am on some meds for the RA, and FM (Fibromyalgia) but also suffer from Hypertension.  I am worried that it could be a thrombosis.  What are the symptoms.  It is really bugging me a lot
