I am a 51 year old male without any risk factor for coronary artery disease (non-diabetic, normotensive, non-smoker, LDL 109 and HDL 45, BMI 19) except a positive family history (father had inferior wall infarction a t the age of 48). I was having slight discomfort in retro-sternal region when I run at 9 km/hour or do strenuous exercise. Stress TMT was normal. CT angio was inconclusive. Coronary angiogram showed 50-60% stenosis in RCA mid. Gated SPECT myocardial perfusion scan was absolutely normal. I am on aspirin and statins. Please advise. Do I need PTCA/stenting.
