We had a horrible home disaster last week when a pipe broke in our downstairs bathroom in the middle of the night and our living room, playroom, bathroom, office and laundry room were flooded.
Our life has been completely turned upside down. The carpet has been ripped up, the dry-wall has been knocked down, our house has had dehumidifiers and fans running for 6 days, and we are living in a total mess. We're in for total reconstruction of 60 percent of our living space which will start early next week.
On the bright side, we do have good home insurance and great family and friends who have been so wonderful during all of this.
