The process of getting a moderately complex surgery is just a PIA. Normally, people are set up for surgery within a month after seeing the surgeon. Imagine trying to squeeze 4 weeks worth of work that needs to be done within 1 week. Sometimes I feel that the communications suck between doctors and the receptionists, which leads to confusion. There was a test that was supposed to be added to the blood work that I did on Monday. When I spoke to the person that's schedules my surgery, I told her that I finished that test 2 weeks ago as it was required by my neurologist. She was surprised because the receptionist did not say anything. I told her that I was positive that I did the test. That's the ONLY thing that is required. I doubt it will be a huge problem, but it would be nice to get everything done. I'm really grateful for Mary dealing with all of this. I'm sure by the time that I finished my surgery, she can breathe a sigh of relief. Great work for putting up with this within just a short time.
