The Nausea, oh my!

Posted Nov 21 2008 3:02pm
While I did not stuffer any ill effects from surgery such as vertigo, vomiting, etc. I got the 'N' word. Nausea that is. Seems like I was Nauseous for several days. I thought it's probably from the anethesia that's still in my system. However, I'm still nauseous, even though it has been over a week. I've been using a little patch that goes behind my ear, and works very well. Then it hit me. I'm nauseous because of the analgesic that they put in my head to numb half of the head (which is a side effect for numbness in my tongue). I believe the analgesic will last for another week or so before it disappears. Takes about 3 to 6 weeks to go away. Which means, in other words I have to keep putting on the transdermal patch.
Other than that, I'm healing well, eating better, and able to open my mouth more. My neck is a lot better. Still slightly sore, but I can handle it.
