Sunday we headed up to the Canyon for a dutch oven dinner and enjoying the green of the mountains. We went with our neighbors Steve and April. Which is always a fun time just visiting. Gavin ran all over the place wouldn't sit still. The big rocks to climb, the water in the creek to check out. Gavin was loving it. Although I tend to get a little grumpy sometimes cause he doesn't just like to just sit and relax. He is a kid that keeps going and going. Which then I just have to remind myself Heather, he is two and that's what a two year old does. Gavin is fearless, he isn't clingy at all and he has no problem with not being able to see me in his sight. April is a doll she helped me out when she could tell I was going off the deep end. Your the Best April!!! She also cook our dinner , and while I was chasing Gavin. We put corn on the cob into the hot coals of the fire. The Corn on the cob was amazing! It was so good! April and myself prepare the dutch oven meal before we left the house. So that made things easier. Chicken, carrots, and red potatoes with a can of cream of chicken soup, sour cream, seasonings. It was yummy! After Dinner we made s 'mores. As a child I hated s 'mores! But I decided to try it again. As adult you might just like it. I really liked it. I made me another one after and then was so full! I couldn't move. Lucky for me Gavin was getting tried! It was 9pm! So we loaded up and headed home. Just barley escaping the rain! We will definitely be heading out again this summer, for another Dutch Oven Dinner!
