1.5 months ago--had a double ear infection; was on 10 day cipro (500 mg x 2 day)

Ear has not been right since. My gp sent me to an ent who scraped the eardrum 2 days ago. Now the ear feels very full and is achy. He also said there is still a lot of fluid behind the ear drum. Are these feelings normal?
