For those who were reading my blog series, “Mom’s Gone Fighting The Deaf Wars” – I still get almost daily hits on that series … I’ve decided to turn these posts private.  The reason being is that I plan onto publishing this story someday. An extended version, since I’ve left out a lot that happened.  I don’t know exactly when I will sit down and pen this for publication, but it will happen. So, thank you for understanding.

On an unrelated topic, I came across something that struck me as extremely interesting, and I think everyone else will too! Someone stumbled onto this, and alerted me to it. I took a screenshot of it… take a look.

This was found on the Washington Post website.  I can’t help but think that the CI stories publicized on DeafRead and DeafVideo.tv played a role into making this happen.  I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on this as it unfolds, because it’s clear to me that the cochlear implant wars have entered a new phase.
