Metro shoppers can check out handy tips on hearing loss at Communication Roadshow

RNID is inviting shoppers to visit the charity's Communication Roadshow at the Metro Centre and pick-up free essential information about looking after their hearing.
At the charity's stand, which is running on the first floor (opposite Oasis) between 9am - 7pm on Saturday (12 March), people will have the chance to see demonstrations of the latest products and communication support. Lipspeaking, speech to text reporting and lipreading can enable people with hearing loss carry on with everyday life. Visitors will also have the chance to take RNID's free hearing check.
Sandra Jones, RNID Communication Development Officer, says: 'We are looking forward to chatting with shoppers who would like advice and information on hearing loss. We will also be encouraging people to take our hearing check so that they! can take action to address any hearing loss and ensure they can continue enjoying their friends, family and work life to the full.'
