my 20 year old daughter has had a tone audiogram. Both ears indicated 50-90bd for each frequency tested. ie approx 50% hearing loss across the range . She is registered disabled with a neurological condition. We have been offered a RIC 622 hearing aid with custom tips ( she has very small ears and bones.) This could cost £1500 +
As she has very little money and is about to start at university we wondered -
is this suitable ? can she get it on the NHS? How long will this take?
