I am a 58 year old surgeon who has taken Lamisil for two months. Yesterday, suddenly, I experienced sudden left sided hearing loss. I was examined by an ENT doctor who diagnosed a sensorineural hearing loss. The loss is complete. Treatment is with prednisone and famvir, an antiviral. I'm waiting to see if there is improvement.
