In the spiritual world, we often talk a lot about the shit we have wrong. But what about the shit we’ve got right? As we begin and continue to make our life a spiritual practice, our ego might have the tendency to linger and tell us that we’re broken or that there is something wrong with us. You might be earlier in your path and feel your ego saying things like, “You think you’re spiritual but you’re not, because you just freaked out on your partner.” Or, “You think you’re so spiritual, but you still binge at night.” There’s a lot of calling out reasons why you’re broken. But, here’s the deal: You’re not broken. You don’t need to be fixed. You just need to remember who you really are.
That’s what is so beautiful and transformative about a consistent meditation practice. Every morning, when I sit down and surrender myself to the Universe, I connect with my inner soul sister. And in that connection, I’m coming back to the truth of who I am: a powerful messenger of love. That’s you too, my friend. I wanted to create a special meditation for you to be able to really tap into Spirit and connect on a deeper level. This Own Your Light meditation is probably my favorite one to date. I even include one of my favorite passages from A Course in Miracles at the end!

Take this meditation with you all day. Make your entire day a meditative experience by being present when people speak. Listen with compassionate ears.
