This is hard on the eyes because what they love to do is move around and explore the world. Eye muscles need a variety of activities. They need to focus in the distance as well as near.”
A tip: As you stroll, pretend you have an invisible pencil at the end of your nose and draw along the edge of the horizon by moving your head. “Encouraging the constant motion of your eyes helps them to see well and prevents them from staring,” notes Gordon.
I don’t know how often I have said this, and I will say it again, take your dog and go for walks. Everyday, and take a look around you. Don’t just walk like a zombie, but take a look around you, far and near….
