Easy Skinny Life Sleep
When I get a good night’s sleep, I conquer the world. When I get a bad night’s sleep, the world of food seems to conquer me. On those tired days, it takes an extra effort on my part to keep meals in check and to stick with my Easy Skinny Life.
Bedtime is sacred to me. I make a point to shut off all electronics and read a good book to relax for at least 30 minutes to an hour before I turn out the lights. A candle is lit, room lights are dimmed, the atmosphere is peaceful, and it sets the tone for a great night of sleep.
If it’s not conducive to sleep, it’s not in my bedroom. No TV or bright lights or mounds of clutter. (If the darn dogs and man could sleep quieter, I’d have perfection). My ceiling fan is breezing over me, and I keep my room temp very cool.
Bottom line: For the easiest Easy Skinny Life, get as much sleep as possible. Go to bed at the same time each night. Routinely shut off the electronics to start a relaxing ritual. Everything else just falls in line.
