You Have to *CHANGE IT UP* in your work outs and your food

Goooodmorning! I don't work till noon-thirty today so I got to sleep in today..and sleep is good! :-)
Anyways...
I admit that I can get into a bit of a routine with my workouts and my food. But it really does help to *change it up* in both categories!
In food, there is almost NO WAY we could get all of the vitamins, antioxidants, and healthy nutrition we need every single day unless we were EXTREME HEALTH NUTS.
I am only a Semi-Health Nut and also a human being so I just try to eat different foods such as turkey for lunch, chicken for dinner.
Banana today, apple tomorrow.
Peanutbutter toast EVERY MORNING, but change up the peanutbutter (creamy with almonds on top vs crunchy with jelly) and different breads.
I also am trying to eat *new* foods....so here's to my NEW FOOD WEDNESDAY: Fruit Edition
(I also tried some new pizza toppings in Monday's Post )
Today's New Fruit: Mini Sweet White Nectarine
Wasn't quite sure how to approach it, so first I ate it like an apple...but it's SOOOO JUICY!
Then I decided to slice it, but still very juicy! (Can you see the juice on my fingers? That was AFTER wiping them so I could pick up my camera!
Overall evaluation of the Mini Sweet White Nectarine
Smell: Sweet and fruity
Taste: Even sweeter, would be great as dessert
Will I eat it again: Yep, probably with some icecream? (non-dairy for this girl of course..silly tummy)
In exercisewe need to mix it up too. Our bodies can get used to doing the same exercise over and over again, so this is why a lot of people hit a "plateau" in their workouts. I babysat my 10-year old sis on Thursday/Friday and we went for a walk which I normally do, but then I told her as we were walking by this ginormous hill that I'd always wanted to go up to see how it looked from up there. Being the adventurer she is, she told me "let's do it."
Surprisingly, this was taken on my phone's camera...perfect except don't mind the litter...
It was super fun, we got to pick some wildflowers up there, and the view was spectacular. NOT TO MENTION my legs and rear end were sore the next day! Good workout and good bonding time with the little sis...PRICELESS.
(grr I can't get the pic of the wildflowers to upload so just picture some pretty daisys, tiny sunflowers, and red-ish wildflowers)
I am also going to do some pilates: Mari Winsor style. I used to do her workouts in highschool and was so excited when I saw her DVD on Netflix (shout out to Netflix <3 ). Like I said...gotta *change it up* a bit!
Hope you all have a fabulously healthy day!
What do you do to *change it up*?
P.S. It's my BLOGIVERSARY tomorrow! (You can send me a card if you'd like!) ;-)
