World War Z and a Pool Party

Date Night

I spent a lot of time relaxing in between running around and being busy this weekend. Casey and I went on a casual date last night. We went to Montana's Cookhouse for dinner.

I ordered the chipotle firecracker burger with no cheese and a garden salad on the side. Everything tasted incredible, but the portion size was huge!

I ended up eating exactly half of the burger and my entire salad. Talk about portion control! I took hope the other half of the burger for Casey to enjoy the next day.

After we were finished dinner, we headed off to the theatre to see World War Z. I was really excited to see this movie and we were not disappointed. I ended up really enjoying it and liked the plot quite a bit. It wasn't the greatest movie of all time by any means, but it was entertaining and really kept me intrigued from start to finish!

SundayBreakfast
After such a late night last night, I had the wonderful opportunity to sleep a little bit later than usual this morning. I woke up when my body wanted to wake up and it felt wonderful! I made a simple breakfast of Gluten Free Brown Rice Rice Krispies with Flax Delight milk and Kraft peanut butter. Drool!

Morning Snack

I spent the rest of the morning doing a bit of cleaning around the apartment before heading off to work. Before I left, I had some crab with seafood sauce to keep me fueled for my entire 4-hour shift.

Lunch

After work, I headed over to my aunt and uncle's place for a pool party. The party was a mixture of celebrating Casey's very belated birthday, celebrating Father's day, and just celebrating the beginning of summer. I snacked my way through lunch but didn't have a single meal.

Dinner

Dinner was a barbeque with lots of goodies! I had a hamburger, some Greek pasta salad, Caesar salad, and vegetables with dip for dinner. Everything tasted amazing!

I also had a piece of black forest cake; however, that somehow avoided being photographed because it went from the plate to my belly in less than a minute. It was definitely inhale-worthy!

After all that splashing around, I'm exhausted! I think it's going to be an early night for all three of us tonight.
