Great discussion going on in the comments of yesterday’s post ! I love everyone’s individual tips for saving (and making!) money! Definitely keeping that post in mind when I’m getting ready to head off to college. You guys are so smart .
By this time, you ALL know what time of the week it is! WIAW of course!
I am really running out of ways to announce this every week! It’s one of my favorite days in the blog world so I hope it’s not getting boring for anyone out there. I personally love reading everyone’s WIAW posts!
What I Ate:
I have been loving all the wonderful winter foods lately. Lots of soups, squash, oranges, grapefruits, and cabbage have been entering this girl’s stomach!
[juicy juicy grapefruit with a warm gingerbread scuffin]
[lentil cabbage salad]
[I ate a whole one tonight and still wanted more…I have issues. Anyone interested in starting a Kabocha Addicts Anonymous?]
[one of the best apples I’ve had since the Fall…honeycrisps FTW!]
[Price Rite had these berries on sale for .89 cents!!! I couldn’t resist!!]
[My mom’s homemade chicken soup with sweet potatoes and kale]
[egg spinach scramble with salsa, crisps with pb and banana, eggplant parm!]
[grilled eggplant on some wasa’s]
[“pizza” rice cakes]
What I Worked:
Today definitely was an at home workout day…did not feel like heading to the gym!
Yesterday however I did spend some quality time with the elliptical and the treadmill…did some intervals on both! A few people wanted to know what I usually do for speed work on the treadmill so I thought I’d share:
30 Minute Treadmill Interval Workout
(this has helped a lot with building my speed and endurance post injury!)
Let me know if you try it out!
What’s on the Agenda for the Rest of the Week:
-a post exploring different running injuries
-the return of “” posts!
Do you have any go to interval/speed workouts?
Please link up! I am always looking for new ones to try out!
