WIAW-Winter Food Love+Intervals

Posted Jan 09 2012 9:15pm

Great discussion going on in the comments of yesterday’s post ! I love everyone’s individual tips for saving (and making!) money! Definitely keeping that post in mind when I’m getting ready to head off to college. You guys are so smart Smile.

————————

By this time, you ALL know what time of the week it is! WIAW of course!

I am really running out of ways to announce this every week! It’s one of my favorite days in the blog world so I hope it’s not getting boring for anyone out there. I personally love reading everyone’s WIAW posts!

What I Ate:

I have been loving all the wonderful winter foods lately. Lots of soups, squash, oranges, grapefruits, and cabbage have been entering this girl’s stomach!

[one of the best apples I’ve had since the Fall…honeycrisps FTW!]

008

[Price Rite had these berries on sale for .89 cents!!! I couldn’t resist!!]

002

[My mom’s homemade chicken soup with sweet potatoes and kale]

What I Worked:

todayshomeworkout

Today definitely was an at home workout day…did not feel like heading to the gym!

Yesterday however I did spend some quality time with the elliptical and the treadmill…did some intervals on both! A few people wanted to know what I usually do for speed work on the treadmill so I thought I’d share:

30 Minute Treadmill Interval Workout

(this has helped a lot with building my speed and endurance post injury!)
