WIAW: Pre-Thanksgiving Eats

I guess I’ll do a WIAW post since that’s all I’ve really accomplished today.

I woke up around 8:00am and had a quick breakfast before heading to work.


Oops! I almost forgot to take a picture, so here we have half eaten sprouted grain toast with peanut butter and banana. As usual, I had a my Starbucks pike place K-cup coffee with soy creamer and stevia.

I packed everything to drive right to PA after work, so I brought a few snacks with me for the road. Before leaving though, I got a workout in.


Because it was upper body lifting day, I made sure my post workout fuel was full of protein.


LOVE these bars. It seriously tastes like a peanut butter candy bar.

Halfway home, I snacked on some almonds.


I arrived at my Mom’s around 3:30 and was starving. I always raid her fridge and cabinets the second I walk in the door. I found the usual suspects: hummus and crackers.


This held me over until dinner was ready. My mom pulled this out of the fridge.


Unbaked old forge style pizza. The best pizza ever and you can only get it in NEPA (northeast Pennsylvania). While she was baking the pizza, she also made spaghetti squash mixed with spinach and salmon. Gotta balance out the cheese and bread, right?


I went back for a third slice. The crust was super thin and airy. Deeeeeeee-lish! But, not so fast.


BAM. Yep, this is happening. Pumpkin cake with cream cheese icing from a local bakery.

And there you have it. This week really should change to What I Ate Thursday, though. Don’t you agree? I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoy the time with your family and friends.
