Happy Saturday morning everyone! I LOVE Saturday mornings. They are the most relaxing day of the week. I love leisurely rolling out of bed. I love the smell of coffee and being able to sit down and enjoy it. I love having the freedom to do whatever I want! Every Saturday is a chance for something new and the possibilities are endless! It is a much needed break from the work week.
So what are your Saturday plans?
This morning I decided to hit the pavement early. And by early, I mean 8:30am because I hate waking up and feeling like I must go-go-go! right away. I wanted to beat the heat, but I wanted to slowly get going. Moral of the story...I probably should have gone an hour earlier. It was fine when I started, but when I finished my 2.5 miles around 9am, it was so hot and humid! I sprinted to shady areas and would walk and enjoy the shade and cool breeze, then go off running again, searching for shade. I finished though and went straight to the yoga mat to stretch it out. 30 minutes of a yoga DVD later and my cold and funk are completely gone. I feel so relaxed and refreshed! Why can't every morning be Saturday morning?
I made up a quick breakfast after yoga.
1 scrambled egg, 2 egg whites+apple+coffee with skim milk and Stevia. My first cup of coffee all week actually! I've been trying hard to cut back on caffeine, but nothing says Saturday morning like a cup of coffee!
In other news, I made my Open Sky shop a little easier to access and added it as a page above. I also added 2 new products so check it out!
Well, we're off. We're 6 weeks from wedding day today. We have favors to finish, programs to figure out, ribbons to cut and tie. We have a couple busy weekends coming up so we want to get as much done as possible! Be back tonight or tomorrow morning with stories of our craft store shopping spree!
