My hubby is MIA for a few days since he is off taking yet another scuba diving course.....I think this one is an advanced tech course but don't quote me on that.......he has taken so many I have lost track of what is what! One thing I hate is cooking for one or just for two so todays dinner was a leftover dinner. But can I tell you, my dinner was DELICIOUS. Mainly because I didn't have to cook it TODAY.....LOL The only thing I had to do is cut the lemon and plop everything else on the plate....LOL So I had chickpeas, salad, grilled chicken and quinoa. Again it was yummy!
So my workout today was only a 3 mile interval run and sit ups. I am hoping to still do weights tonight but I had so much paperwork to do today and still tonight so no its not the best workout day for me but unfotunately life happens.
I have seen in blogworld a bar called "Simply Bar". But I had never seen it anywhere in stores so I just assumed it was only in the USA.....but low and behold I was at a bulk store here buying my chia seeds and look what I found
Yup I found the "Simply Bar". So I picked one up, without knowing the price but I did read the ingredients and nutritional value. It sounded good and I especially likes that this little bar has 18g of protein...wow....that is pretty impressive. So this bar was almost $3.00......I think that is alot for what it was. It tasted okay, I got the cinnamon flavour, it was a little bit bland but it did fill the little hunger whole in my tummy. I was also surprised to find out that it is a Canadian company based here in Toronto. Will I buy it again? If I find it cheaper, yes, if I don't, probably not.
