Wellness is an ongoing process of self growth. Wellness encompasses every area of our lives. It is about relationships. Relationships we have with our-selves and with all others. Wellness is about learning, growing, improving and striving to live our best life. Even individuals who face serious medical conditions can pursue wellness. To be well in body, mind, heart and spirit is a process of self-discovery and self renewal. It is a courageous choice and the most important work of all individuals. It is not about perfection, being an ideal weight or shape. It is about feeling connected, alive, happy and simply well.
I decided to start this blog to share my own personal quest to better living, better health and total wellness. I have always had a passionate interest in personal growth, professional development, nutrition, and physical fitness. I enjoy learning. It is a lifetime pursuit. I believe in a body, heart, mind and spiritual emphasis to wellness. It is a holistic approach, in which, all areas influences and enhance the others. I call this living the wellness lifestyle. Living the wellness lifestyle is all about empowered living.
