what i’m loving wednesday #2

Posted Nov 16 2011 9:34am

Last month I posted a “what i’m loving wednesday” basically a peek into some of the things I’ve been gawking over and pinning lately.  Anyways I loved reading the comments and really enjoyed hearing what you all are currently drooling over so I figured it would be fun to do it again this month! Here we go.

Up first I found these gorgeous sweet potato pancakes for one from healthy food for living  how amazing do they look!

I have been on a major cranberry kick lately so I couldnt help myself when I saw these pretty little cranberry orange scones from sweet peas kitchen . How delicious would these be with a mug of warm tea in the afternoon, yum!

I havent been doing as much with pumpkin lately but this pumpkin french toast from the edible perspective   looks irresistible!

After tasting my first butternut squash and kale pizza last fall ive been craving the combo ever since. This sweet potato & kale pizza from the pixelated crumb  looks so amazing and I love the vibrant colors!

I’m not sure what my recent infatuation with peanut soup is lately, but after scanning my recipe board on pinterest yesterday I found 8 different peanut soups I had pinned. Of them all Closet Cooking’s sweet potato peanut soup  is definitely at the top of my “must make” list, perfect comfort food!

And speaking of comfort food, these gorgeous  brown butter mashed potatoes from How Sweet Eats look to die for, amazing.

If you follow me on pinterest already you’ve probably seen the 28694 acorn squash recipes i’ve been pinning. For some reason i’ve been obsessed and cant wait to try these gorgeous grilled acorn squash from panini happy .

Another incredible looking acorn squash recipe,  cranberry orange quinoa stuffed squash from fake food free, omg.

For desserts I cant get over how adorable these little funfetti donuts are from the pursuit of hippiness

and how mouthwatering do Bakerella’s  bourbon sweet potato cupcakes  look, seriously?

I also love these fall inspired butternut squash cupcakes with white chocolate frosting from une gamine dans la cuisine  what a fun, unique flavor combination!

Last but not least is this  apple cider cocktai l by book cooker, I am a huge fan of mulled cider in the winter and I think spicing things up with a little bourbon might be delicious ;)

Questions:

What are some things on your “must make list”

What are you drooling over? id love some links :)

Which recipe would you try first? im thinking the sweet potato pancakes

I’m off to get some stuff crossed off my to do list and then head to the gym, have a wonderful Wednesday!
