what foods contain vitamin D

The best food sources of Vitamin D are: cold-water fish (i.e. salmon, tuna, etc); fortified dairy products, eggs (the yolk), beef liver, and cod liver oil.

 Other than food, the best source of Vitamin D is of course the sun and a little exposure a few times a week (unless you live in a northern climate) can be very beneficial.
