What a Day

Posted May 26 2011 12:00am

I finally dragged my butt out of bed at 5:00 AM this morning to go to my favorite spin class at our downtown YMCA. The instructors name is Becca and she is no joke. I love the instructors that despise people who come in to class thinking they can “ease” through the workout. She kicks your behind or kicks you out all while playing some ROCKIN music to keep you going.

Before Spin I was able to get in a lift session I found on Naomi’s blog over at OneFitFoodie . Thank you!!

Work does not need to be discuss other than I left feeling like I ran a marathon and then some all while having millions of thoughts consume my brain these about what the next two weeks of  my life will be like. I have so much going on and instead of tackling the projects I’m ignoring them because the stress is overwhelming.

Does anyone else have some fun/exhausting/ exciting new things happening soon?

I’m moving in 3 or 4 days which is exciting and stressful all at the same time. I’m so happy to leave this apartment but not looking forward to the actual move itself. I was also supposed to be going to the beach this weekend to hang out with some friends but moving has gotten in the way so I am going to improvise. Meaning going to the beach just closer to see girls I haven’t seen in forever and I can’t wait :) haha I don’t give up on the beach because if it were up to me I would live on the beach and work in the sand everyday. They make laptops water proof and resistant  to sand right?

Besides dreaming about my beach job I have been really into music tonight. I am at a crossroads right now with my emotions. Everyday seems to be different but it is never a bad different just a learning experience. Getting mad at someone or a situation ultimately gets you no where except for upset over something you can’t change so why do it ? Understanding why you are mad , learning from your experience and moving forward knowing that the experience you had no matter good or bad just made you stronger and more knowledgeable about what to do in a future situations.

This song has been on replay a lot of the night. All you single ladies I know you will love it because isn’t it so true?

SUGAR LAND   – Settlin

I hope everyone has a wonderful memorial day weekend and stays safe! It is going to be hot on the east coast so make sure to hydrate!
