With the body holding onto fewer toxins, you are able to more easily lose those last few stubborn pounds. Guacamole Recipe


2 avocadoes, mashed

2 cloves of garlic, minced

½ cup of onion, diced

1 cup of tomato, chopped

¼ cup cilantro, chopped

Dash of lime juice

Blend all the ingredients in a food processor until well blended. Serve with sliced cucumbers, bell peppers or celery.


Smoothies are also an effective and tasty addition to a raw foods cleansing detox. Combine a sampling of your favorite fruits, and even some leafy greens, such as kale, in a blender with some ice and natural milk, such as almond milk. Blend until smooth and serve chilled.
