I’ve been running around trying to finish up some last minute things for christmas. This year, we’re hosting the family at our house since I have to work in the morning (HUGE bummer – not happy about this at all!). We had a fun filled weekend which I’ll talk about later this week, but, for now, here’s my meals and workouts for the week.
Sunday: Grilled pork tenderloin with kale chips and left over garlic potatoes
Friday: Spaghetti squash with veggie and meat tomato sauce
Saturday: wing it/leftovers/whatever we feel like
Lately I’ve been in a slump with cooking. It has been rather un-enoyable and I don’t know why – it’s usually one of my favorite things to do! Maybe it’s all of the holiday hype an stress? Who knows..
Maybe next week I’ll have my cooking mojo back!
Monday: 40-50 minutes cardio and bootcamp
Wednesday: 6 mile run and a leg workout
Thursday: 5 mile run and a strength workout with Jess
Friday: strength workout with my workout buddy
Saturday: 8 miles
Like always, my plans are flexible. My workouts usually will go as planned, but the meals sometimes get switched depending on what we feel like. It’s just nice to have some sort of guide
I decided to use tomorrow afternoon as my prep day for both the week and my job for christmas day – homemade chocolate pudding! I’ll also make some more cookies for my cookie party with the girls and some steel cut oats for the later part of the week.
I’m off to catch up on some e-mails, climb into bed, and watch some Christmas movies There’s only a few more days they’ll be on!
