Weekly Meals and Workouts 1/6

Good Morning!!

I just got back from my morning run and I’m more energized than ever. More on that later.

I’m taking advantage of this runner’s high to get my grocery shopping, planning, and prep done for the week!

I’ve gone through my calendar to see what’s going on this week, searched the blog world for some new, quick recipes, and grabbed my paper and pen. Hardcore plan and prep, here I come :)

This week includes a few work days, meetings and work for some volunteer things I’m doing, and friends’ birthday celebrations. Definitely looks like it’s going to be a good one!

Here’s what I’ve come up with for my eats and exercise for the week…

Meal Plan

Sunday: Quick Sauteed Shrimp with  cauliflower pizza crust   pizza

 

Monday: Beer and Bone Suckin’ Crockpot Chicken over quinoa

Tuesday: Out to dinner with friends in the city

WednesdayAsian Inspired SalmonCurry Roasted Acorn Squash , and steamed broccoli for mom/sauteed broccoli for me (I like the crunch ;) )

Thursday: Leftovers

Friday: Roasted Tofu Vegetable Stir-fry

Saturday: Out to dinner for friends’ birthdays in AC

Workouts

Monday: Early morning strength workout with Jess then BALLROOM DANCING :) ( new years resolution )

Tuesday: 5 miles (speed work) and a strength workout with a friend

Wednesday: Leg workout

Thursday: 5 miles (hills) and bootcamp

Friday: Active recovery (40 minutes on the bike) or OFF depending how I feel

Saturday: 8 miles

Sunday: OFF

Well, there you have it – my plan for the week! It’s flexible as always depending what surprises come about during the week.

I’m off to grocery shop and run a few errands while I still have the energy :)
