I just got back from my morning run and I’m more energized than ever. More on that later.
I’m taking advantage of this runner’s high to get my grocery shopping, planning, and prep done for the week!
I’ve gone through my calendar to see what’s going on this week, searched the blog world for some new, quick recipes, and grabbed my paper and pen. Hardcore plan and prep, here I come
This week includes a few work days, meetings and work for some volunteer things I’m doing, and friends’ birthday celebrations. Definitely looks like it’s going to be a good one!
Here’s what I’ve come up with for my eats and exercise for the week…
Sunday: Quick Sauteed Shrimp with cauliflower pizza crust pizza
Monday: Beer and Bone Suckin’ Crockpot Chicken over quinoa
Tuesday: Out to dinner with friends in the city
Wednesday: Asian Inspired Salmon , Curry Roasted Acorn Squash , and steamed broccoli for mom/sauteed broccoli for me (I like the crunch )
Friday: Roasted Tofu Vegetable Stir-fry
Saturday: Out to dinner for friends’ birthdays in AC
Monday: Early morning strength workout with Jess then BALLROOM DANCING ( new years resolution )
Tuesday: 5 miles (speed work) and a strength workout with a friend
Wednesday: Leg workout
Thursday: 5 miles (hills) and bootcamp
Friday: Active recovery (40 minutes on the bike) or OFF depending how I feel
Saturday: 8 miles
Well, there you have it – my plan for the week! It’s flexible as always depending what surprises come about during the week.
I’m off to grocery shop and run a few errands while I still have the energy
