Happy Saturday friends! Thanks for the “congrats” on our new house. Fingers crossed everything goes as plan over the next month so we can close and get settled. We spent a majority of our day downtown yesterday morning running errands and checking things off our moving “to-do” list. Emmalyne lucked out because we bought her her big girl bed. We will be picking up her full-sized bed the week after we get into the new house which will give her a month to adjust to it before baby sister arrives. Wee!!
This week in workouts was GREAT. I am still feeling awesome and working out keeps my sanity and stress levels in check. As I’ve said the last couple of weeks I feel like I should start slowing my pace down on my running. I currently average around 9:35-9:45 a mile and while that feels good I feel my body starting to slow down a bit in general. We will see! I am still loving my Gabrialla maternity support belt and will be doing a review on it this week since many of you have asked. Now on to the workouts!
MONDAY: 1-hour yoga class + 2.3 mile walk with Em & dogsTUESDAY: 30 minute run + CrossFit WODWEDNESDAY:30 minute run + CrossFit WOD + 1 mile walk with Em & dogs
THURSDAY: 30 minute run + 1 mile walk with Em & dogs
SATURDAY: 40 minutes elliptical
*All running includes a separate warm-up/cool-down totaling 0.58 miles
Like I said … right now I am feeling great. I am finding that my “happy spot” is running 3-4 times a week and walking other days. I am trying to get yoga in at least once and 2-3 strength workouts. I start a 6-week long prenatal yoga class at my yoga studio this week too which I am really excited about!
