My entire weekend probably isn’t worthy of a recap. I basically stalked Lucy with the camera 24/7…and that’s about it.
If you’re into extreme puppy cuteness, watch this video of Lucy discovering her reflection in the oven and her tail.
If I am this crazy about camera and video stalking my dog, God help my poor baby!
Aside from pretending to be the pet paparazzi, I did go to TCBY with Brittney on Thursday. I know, I know…Thursday only counts as part of the weekend when you’re in college…but it was pretty much my only fun out of the house adventure.
Anyway, I got the orange sorbet (dairy-free, of course) and topped it with kiwi, strawberries, mango, and mixed chopped nuts.
It was so nice to sit outside by the fountain and play catch up with her. While were were eating, some little boy entertained us by constantly running around like he’d had a bit too much TCBY already.
As his father chased after him, I kept thinking, “Yikes! Do I have enough energy for that in a few months?” Brittney reassured me that I’m up for the challenge though.
I’m super excited about some of the new-to-me foods I found at Earth Fare on Sunday afternoon, including this quinoa chocolate bar.
I also found this organic coconut spread and these yummy looking mushroom rice burgers and can’t wait to try them! I also found a new flavor of the Jolly Llama squeezups that I haven’t tried yet (mango sorbet).
On Sunday night, Michael and I watched South Carolina play in the College World Series. Whenever the Gamecocks play, I drink out of my special coffee mug (shown below with a half-eaten protein pancake). I’d like to think that they win because of me.
Unfortunately, they played pretty poorly last night, and even my lucky mug couldn’t save them. Hopefully, it will work magic for them tonight!
Baseball is pretty much the only sport I can stand to watch (with football being my very least favorite), and I really love watching the games. I just wish that they wouldn’t end so late, especially since a certain puppy likes to wake us up at the crack of dawn.
Oh well, it will just start to prepare me for real lack of sleep come October.
Did you do anything fun this weekend?
Have you tried any of the new things I bought at Earth Fare? I’d love to hear what you thought of them.
Do you like baseball? Have you been watching the College World Series?
Lucy is so CUTE! I would be the same way following her around with the camera! I haven’t tried Earth Fare brand, but I once found some quinoa dark chocolate at Whole Foods and I think I ate the whole bar in like a day. (Hours? ) It was SO yummy! Enjoy your yummy finds
