Last weekend we got all of the transplants into the garden, which is great, because last year we were about three weeks behind. We planted: onions, beets, leeks, radishes, lots of herbs, artichokes, carrots, eggplants, squash, pickling cucumbers, kale, and tomatoes. I can’t wait for the bounty to begin!
I thought I’d try something a little different with my post today, to round out the week…first the garden, then more fun.
Getting the transplants ready.
Preparing the seeds.
The strawberry patch.
Everything’s planted!
Taking out the compost.
It looks gross to us, but is delicious for Mother Earth.
Package [and sample] number one .
