Weekend Reading and a Garden Update [Everything’s Planted!]

Posted May 27 2011 12:00am

I thought I’d try something a little different with my post today, to round out the week…first the garden, then more fun.

Last weekend we got all of the transplants into the garden, which is great, because last year we were about three weeks behind. We planted: onions, beets, leeks, radishes, lots of herbs, artichokes, carrots, eggplants, squash, pickling cucumbers, kale, and tomatoes. I can’t wait for the bounty to begin!

If you haven’t entered yet, check out my GIVEAWAY for a copy of the book Must Have Been Something I Ate .

I have a few surprises in store this weekend, so I’ll be back with a special Sunday post. Have a great [long] weekend, everyone!
