Definitely something for everyone! Curious about my activities for the week?
Monday – Rest day. I don’t normally take a rest day on the first day of the week, but I only took 1 rest day the week before AND I completed 2 – 5Ks during that week.
Tuesday – Cardio. Stuck to the elliptical – did not wish to brave the cold and wind outside. Fingers crossed I get a speed and candence sensor that works with my Garmin 410 for my birthday. Then I will start using the bike training some for cardio.
Today – Strength training. I will do my strength training just as soon as I get home from work.
Thursday – Cardio. Whether I walk outside or use the elliptical is still unknown. Will depend on the weather. Just like the saying below, there are no perfect conditions. Have a plan for all kinds of weather.Source: thismakesmedurable.tumblr.com via GlennethReed on Pinterest
Friday – Strength training.
Saturday – Power circuit.
Sunday – Rest Day.
I may rearrange Friday, Saturday, Sunday depending on how I feel and what is going on. That’s why I am really enjoying having an online personal trainer . I have my schedule of workouts and then I make them fit my schedule. Tina is super supportive and encouraging. She also helps me when I need to change something around.
For example, she assigned me something called a crab walk. Search YouTube and you will find all kinds of videos. I kept trying the crab walk and falling. So, I would try, fall, watch a video, try, fall, watch a different video. Then I just moved on to the next exercise. Apparently I am not quite coordinated enough nor do I have enough upper body strength to do the crab walk at this time. Tina was great to offer me an alternative and it gives me something to work toward (although as clumbsy as I am, it may never happen).
