So – lately I’ve been kind of slacking with regards to the wedding planning. I was all for getting everything done quickly when we first got engaged. It seemed like every weekend, I was knocking another thing off of the check list.
Well. I sort of lost my planning mojo, if I do say so myself. Don’t get me wrong. I am more then excited about wedding planning.. and our wedding… BUT as the school year goes on, the more I cherish and need my rest of the weekends.. and don’t adore traveling around the state to meet with vendors.
I will tell you that I have no problem discussing my wishlist with other people.. and searching for cool things online. I guess I need to start being a little more proactive with my planning.
Here are some ideas (via Pinterest.. and others..) that I have placed on my wishlist for our wedding. I am not quite sure if I will be able to make it happen.. or if certain things will fit into the budget.. but they are all lovely
Okay. This is at the top of my wishlist. I’ve been talking to so many people about Photobooths – those who have had them at their wedding.. and those who have had their pictures taken while being a guest at a wedding. The response if a unanimous.. AWESOME. Guests enjoy have fun in the booth. They get to take a set home with them. (This can also act as a favor )… and another copy gets placed in a little scrapbook – where notes can be written to the newlyweds. The cool thing is.. the scrapbook would be handed to us THAT night.. so we’d have something tangible and awesome to take with us.. immediately!
How CUTE is this. I think it would be awesome if Justin and I were able to find pictures from different years of our lives.. and then have these be our tables. Gah. Adorable. Personal touch.
Pretty Dress Hanger
I will most definitely be getting one of these to hang my dress. I think it will make for fantastic pictures.. and just seems so perfect. There are a lot of people on etsy who design these.. so I will be ordering one in the near future!!
I most definitely need to find the perfect pair of sparkly shoes. The glitz and glam would go absolutely perfect with my wedding dress! Just need to find the right ones!
I mean.. we don’t have a huge bridal party. There will be 10 in the party – and the two of us. Plus.. our parents. (Do they come in the limo?) A limo would probably be just fine.. but a party bus would be pretty baller. Just sayin…
What were some of the dream items on your wedding wish list? Did you crunch numbers to make it a possibility?!
