Wedding Wednesday: Brooch Bouquets

Posted Jun 13 2012 5:40pm

Every bride wants to be unique on her special day. Growing in popularity, brooch bouquets are the perfect way to marry something old with something borrowed to create something new.

While I scrolled through endless etsy accounts looking for some of the prettiest and most affordable, I came across the  delightful story behind the creation of the bouquets that makes them so extra special and memorable.

Each brooch is given to the bride-to-be by a friend, or a family member, in the color scheme of her choice. The brooches are then sent to the bouquet designer, who spends hours hand making each bouquet, paying special attention to and personal requests the bride may make.

Each piece is unique and beautiful, but more than that each piece contains a little piece of the bride’s life story because the people she
holds closest to her heart are held in her hand on her wedding day.

Check out some of these beautiful bouquets, and head on over to Etsy to search until your heart is content with the perfect brooch boquet.

There are tons of designers and options, in prices ranging from $300-$900.

Most of the designers are happy to cater to a bride’s specific needs, and it’s just another way for you to shine on your special day.
