The “I dos”
Husband/Wife Portraits

These reception pictures are very personal to me. They aren’t the typical posed pictures, it’s real emotion, real looks, real everything. None of it is staged or forced. This is the realest form of me anyone can see. I am absolutely in love with these pictures.

Our entire wedding was done in a backyard. We had enough room for about 65 people. We kept it to family and close mutual friends. We had a tent in the backyard. My center pieces (thanks to the momma pumpkin) were pumpkins, we cut out the center of them, stuck a thin tall glass in there, bought flowers from Trader Joes (for $3-4) and had little battery operated lights in them. We saved a ton of money by doing it ourselves!

We had a gluten free chocolate cake with peanut butter filling. It was AMAZING!

Then we had an epic cake battle in which we both won. I should really have an entire post dedicated to the cake smashing because these aren’t even the half of it.

Ahh this sums up our wedding photos. I know there were a ton of reception photos! I hope you all enjoyed them.

Are you in to the cake smashing tradition? What other classic traditions did you do at your wedding?
