What is the best thing about working at my gym? Perhaps the fact that my favorite restaurant, Takosushi, is on the floor below us? I swear, half of my paycheck goes to this place. For lunch, I ordered one of my usuals – the Yasai Roll (avocado, Japanese pickles, asparagus, cucumber, sprouts and scallions). Super healthy huh? Yeah, that was until the owner totally busted me for my side order of teriyaki sauce. He said, and I quote, “You work at a gym? Aren’t you supposed to eat healthy?” OH NO HE DIDN’T…I eat healthy 95% of the time buddy. Let me have my 2 tablespoons of sodium and sugar!
Not so much?
Today’s workout was 3 miles of sprint intervals. I’m weird with sprints in that I have to sprint based on the beat. Can you tell I work for a radio station much? I did a few lower body circuits before finishing with a light 15 minutes on the archtrainer.
Dinner contained no teriyaki, but plenty of tuna and peas! (Weird combo, I know, but sooo delicious!)
