Project Food Blog

My entry for challenge #1 is here: The Mysterious Case of the Two-Sided Sneakers .

If you like it, go vote for me ! Or check out some of the other entries and if you like those better, vote for them! You have til Wednesday :) [By the way, you can vote 400 times!!]

In other happenings, thanks for the headache remedy ideas. I like to be fair, so I tried them all:

Sleepytime Tea…the vanilla flavor’s new- and good!

A little white wine… (wait, that wasn’t one of your suggestions?)

barefoot pinot grigio

Don’t worry, I made up for it with lots of water. (Probably the only time my beer glass is full of water.)

And some lavender. (This stuff smells amazing by the way, I love it & use it all the time.)

lavendar sleep spray

Plus some relaxing, which involved a little too much time wandering around the bookstore. I was supposed to be birthday shopping for my mom, but somehow I ended up in the cookbook isle. Have you ever noticed how many freaking cookbooks there are? Geez.

None of the above seemed to be fulfilling it’s headache-curing responsibilities, so I opted for some fresh air & sunshine.

Nothing like spending the afternoon on the lake with a nice breeze on your face! And even though the whole world is talking about pumpkin spice lattes, it’s still summer in my neck of the woods.

You know, fresh air and…. power plants & electrical lines…

I was sad to still be on the DL for wakeboarding, but l played photographer instead.

Fresh air & sunshine always help. ;)

What are your favorite cookbooks? I only like ones with pictures :) And even then I never seem to use them…
