Upcoming Workshop: Nutrition for Heated Yoga Workouts

Are you a fan of the various heated yoga workouts ( Bikram, Power and Heated Vinyasa ) popular these days?  Do you love to sweat while getting a good stretch? If so, how can you be sure you’re giving your body what it needs before, during and after a heated yoga class?

I’m offering an overview on pre- and post- fueling and hydrating for heated yoga workouts on Saturday, April 4th from 11:45am to 12:15pm  at Yoga Source Los Gatos. Topics will include:

1.      General healthful eating tips for wellness and workouts

2.    Specific optimal pre- and post-workout snacks & meals

3.    Fluid/food intake guidelines to replacing nutrients lost through sweat 

4.   Calories burned in a typical heated yoga class
