Two Week too late

Posted May 16 2011 12:00am

So it has been two weeks since I last posted. Not too bad but I’m still not happy with it. I will get there eventually. I keep convincing myself that my life will slow down. Sometimes I want it to but I have been having a crazy time so should I really be wishing for less?

Starting with my crazy life, my mom and I had a phenomenal time in the Outer Banks at the  28th Annual Yuengling Nags Head 5k Woods preserve .  We enjoyed beer, bbq, running, and good people along with a BEAUTIFUL DAY!

We continued the day with a wonderful dinner at the Rundown Cafe where I ordered the fish tacos with mahi mahi. Followed by a very late night at the bar …… all well worth it. We made a run for the vending machine around 1:30 a.m. only to find out they don’t take $5.00 bills. Who would have thought, obviously not us!

In addition to the great weekend I was able to visit with my best friend in the world TWICE! during the week. It was great. Whitney was having all her friends in her master’s program from University of Virginia to her house in Williamsburg. 225730_940900306096_1526984_46519158_6480805_n

The first night was planned and calm for me. The second night started at 4:00 pm when I received this picture on my phone at work.

Lets all be real here who the hell would pass this up??

Followed by pasta dinner, drinks, and good friends again!! I had previously hung out with a lot of the girls at a bachelorette party I attended a few weeks ago at UVA.

Few phrase.*Sticks and stones may break my bones but chains and whips excite me*Please tell me you ate your half of the burrito when we got home last night* me: “I have a boyfriend” guy: “ Then can I buy you a drink.” Love it :)    225973_940887880996_1526984_46518817_3008222_n

I finished up the week with a bang! First trip to court for my first speeding ticket ( I hated it but don’t we all).  Followed by a weekend at the :

53rd Annual Road Runners of America Conference in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Have I ever mentioned how much I love my job. The conference was a phenomenal experience.  I met amazing people and learned so many new things as well as new races I want to run. I also was able to meet Billy Mills. Read about  Billy Mills here ; he was the speaker at one of our lunches.

I hope everyone has a great week and hopefully I will be back sometime this week.
