Hey luvs!
Happy to hear that everyone has been loving our life changing dessert socca !!! I must say, I am already thinking about when I will make this again.
With all this socca eating we do, workouts are a must!
Last Friday we did a bodyrock workout :
At Home Workout: 3 parts to this workout.
Loved how the workout constantly changed, made it fly by!
We enjoyed this workout so much that we did it again yesterday morning,
But did we do better this time?
YEP!
We each pushed harder and beat our Friday numbers
(Our Monday numbers are in red).
Part 1 – 4 rounds 10/50 intervals
Santana plank:
L-24-25 26-26
M-24-25 26-26
Diagonal plank jump:
L- 62-56 68-63
M- 62-60 70-63
Part 2 – 30 steps on each leg (did same reps)
(we just use a chair to set-up on, I know classy!)
Part 3 – 4 rounds 10/50 intervals
Lunge side to side (duck under):
L – 27-27 30-32
M-27-26 31-32
Side to side half push-ups:
L- 16-13 17-15
M- 15-15 17-16
As you can see are numbers are close, sometimes one would be higher than the other. Working out together we always try to do better than the other one
A little sister competition!!
After all the sweating, we have been busy cleaning, packing, and painting Lori’s place. I know we have briefly mentioned it here before, but we are moving. Yep, so lets just say life is a little crazy right now.
Our workouts have been random.
Our eats have been all over the place.
I am sure looking forward to a routine again, although not sure when that will be.
Post-workout meal:
Pumpkin Chia Pudding …quickly becoming one of our go-to recipes!
Yacon syrup for sweetness and cacao nibs for crunch…YUM!
Seriously I think I could live off yacon and cacao nibs …who needs anything else, haha.
Dinner was simple and light!
Veggie lasagna! We are big fans of vegetable lasagna .
Zucchini with avocado and butternut squash on top of green lettuce.
Drizzled with some olive oil and sprinkle of black sea salt.
Served with a glass of homemade kombucha .
Twin’s Question: When life is pulling you in all directions, do you find your normal way of doing things pushed to the side? How do you try to maintain normalcy?
Also, do you like to compete with others when working out? Life your brothers, sisters, or friends? Hey even blog friends?
Till next time,
Michelle
