I had two great workouts this weekend - both were part of the Turbo Jam series. The one I did on Saturday is called "Punch, Kick & Jam". It's a little under an hour long, and it's one of those workouts that kicks your hiney into high gear whether you like it or not. Even if I hadn't been punching and kicking my hardest, which I was, the constant dance-aerobic movement kept my heart racing the entire time.
I did my second workout of the weekend this morning. Cardio Mix 1 was part of the original Turbo Jam package, so I've done it quite a few times. As I was punching and kicking and squatting and jumping, I noticed that my muscles were sore from the day before - the fabulous kind of sore that means you did good.
I'm so excited about my energy level lately. I think that between the healthy meals, consistent workout schedule, and most recently the vitamin D supplements, I'm really getting back on track.
