Over the weekend I received a package in the mail from Rubberbanditz . Essentially a way to do resistance training at home with giant rubber bands. Sounds cool to me.
These are the big rubber bands
Thanks, Rubberbanditz ! I'm excited to get started with these! I also started selling them in my Open Sky store
Rubberbanditz Is Great For
I also received a sample of Madre-C from iHerb.com
Source : "Madre-C ™ is a unique 100% Natural Whole-Food Vitamin C Complex, designed to supply the body with high-quality, naturally-derived Vitamin C from: Wildcrafted Camu Camu Berries, Wildcrafted Rose Hips and Organic Acerola Berries. Also, in this natural formula, we have included Amla (Indian Gooseberry) fruit extract, rich in specific tannins believed to work synergistically to help stabilize Vitamin C."
Extra Vitamin C to stave off winter colds and flu bugs sounds good to me!

1. How do you feel about trying out new workout items, tools, health products, or things in general?
Previous to the companies contacting me, I had never heard of Rubberbanditz or Madre-C but I am always game to try something new.
Recently I posted about how I've streamlined my fitness routine into 20 minutes , and that it can all be done at home, with a yoga mat, a pair of dumbbells, and an exercise ball. Not much space or budget$ required!
One of my main points in the post was that the same thing(s) isn't always going to work, or work forever, so it's important, I believe, to be receptive to change and to trying out new things. For instance, I sold my Bowflex because I wasn't using it, even though I wanted to love it and use it, as I explained why here , it just wasn't for me. But I always love trying new things.
I mean, you never know if you're going to love a piece of sporting/exercise equipment or vitamin supplement. Never hurts to try something; you may just end up loving it, is my attitude.
2. Do you consider yourself adventurous and up for trying new things, or more comfortable with "old stand by's" and predictable when it comes to making choices, in general?
I guess this question is similar to my first question but I am actually very open to trying new things, but once I find a product or a food or a routine that works for me, I do tend to stick with it and not change it. For instance, I frequently eat the same foods. I call this a Food Groove, not a rut .
It's a balancing act and I'm a mish-mash of being adventurous vs. being predictable. Just depends on the item and situation. I love lip gloss and body spray. What can I say, I'm very girlie in many ways. And I have my old standby's but I love trying new colors and scents. Same with coffee. I love TJ's Dark Sumatra but I always sample other coffees, too.
3. Anything fun or exciting planned for your week or the rest of the month?
I have a busy month of November and have a very fun December coming up!
