Last Friday I took off work so I could take my father out for a long overdue dinner. My mom was out of town and my brother was out with friends so it was the perfect opportunity for us.
I have been telling my father for the past two months that I wanted to take him out to dinner to thank him for everything he has done for me over the past school year including my graduation party, helping me through school, and finally supporting me through everything. Basically celebrating how fantastic of a father he is.
Now onto the place we chose.
Chuck Kailos is a beloved fan of crab legs and never ever treats himself to anything special; SOOOOO I did a little research around town to find out where the best place to go for crab legs would be. We settled on an all you can eat buffet at Jimmy’s oven and grill. I know it does not sound Seafood es at all but let me tell you their seafood dishes were to kill for.
My father purchased the buffet and I settled for the restaurants favorite spring vegetable seafood pasta with a white wine sauce. The pasta was out of this world with juicy scallops and shrimp along with mussels! My dinner came with a side salad which i topped with their greek dressing and a little ranch on the side.
Overall, are dinner was fantastic and my father and I’s bonding time was complete
Sorry for the half eaten salad. I had gone to spinning earlier in the day and my appetite was larger than I expected. Have a great Thursday new posts will follow soon
