So if you’ve already seen the new Superman movie Man of Steel, I bet you couldn’t help but wonder how the hunky actor, Henry Cavill got his smoking hot Superman body. Well, it turns out that Henry Cavill trained with THE top Hollywood trainer, Mark Twight, who is also the founder of the functional training gym, Gym Jones.

I’ve mentioned a few times on this blog that I’m a pretty big fan of Gym Jones. My brother introduced me to the workouts a few years ago when he started competitive MMA and I’ve been a fan of the functional workouts since. The workouts are fast, fun, and incredibly intense. With moves like bear crawls, dead hangs, man makers, and goblet squats, you’re guaranteed to sweat and be deliciously sore the next day.
So when I found out that Mark Twight partnered with the National Guard to develop a Soldier of Steel workout, I got pretty freaking excited. I mean…Henry Cavill, Gym Jones, and the National Guard?
COMMENCE DROOL FEST.
As most of you are aware by now, I’m currently married to a soldier who also happens to be a fitness freak. And as a fellow fan of fitness myself, together we’re always on the lookout for new and challenging ways to sweat. So we were both pretty excited to try out a few of the workouts from the website.

Consider our behinds officially kicked. Especially my 9 month preggo butt!
Now let’s be real. I know a lot of us ladies are probably not aspiring to look like Henry Cavill in Superman. But if you’re interested in a workout that will make you sweat, shake, and you want to learn some fun new moves, you have to try the Soldier of Steel™ workout. It’s a great way to shake up your daily routine and take your fitness level up to a whole new level.

The site also offers great explanations and demonstrations of each move, and each workout can also be tailored to your own level of fitness. A lot of the workouts can also be done without equipment, so there are no excuses NOT to work out.
Take it from my own hunky soldier, they do this kind of stuff all the time for work. And with what these guys do for a living every day, they are definitely BAD ASS in my book.
