As some of you may recall, I used to do the bulk of my grocery shopping at Trader Joe’s.
But then I had a baby whose carrier dominated the tiny shopping carts there- making it just a tad difficult to get everything that I needed all at once.
Now that my little guy is sitting up in front of the cart (such a big boy!), there is plenty of room to spare for food, so Trader Joe’s and I have reunited. (And yes…it feels so good.)
Here’s the aftermath of my most recent visit!
Gluten-free bread (made with brown rice)
Pink Lady apples
Champagne vinaigrette dressing
Fire roasted yellow and red bell peppers
Apple cider vinegar
Tejava unsweetened iced tea
ZICO chocolate coconut waterCoconut oil
Coconut body butter (Obviously, this isn’t food-related, but it is awesome stuff!)
Organic romaine lettuce
I also got some un-pictured cherry tomatoes, onions, broccoli, organic kiwi, and mushrooms. In all honesty, their produce is hit or miss for me, but I do love that their organic fruits and veggies are so cheap.
Have you found anything noteworthy at Trader Joe’s lately that I should try?
Have a great day!
I haven’t tried their coconut oil spray, but I bought coconut oil spray at Whole Foods and LOVE it. I am actually almost out, so I have to get more. I’ll probably get it at TJs this time around. Have you tried it?
I love Trader Joe’s. The closest one to me is about 20 miles so when I visit it you can definitely say Trader Joe’s Haul. I started using their coconut oil as pat of my nightly skin regimen and have pretty much abandoned my cleanser and night cream. Great haul
I’ve been cleansing with oils too and have been thinking of using coconut oil as part of the regimen. I’m a bit obsessed with coconut oil and love the price point at TJs. If I lived 20 miles away, I’d definitely stock up too!
I bought their chocolate covered pretzels once and I LOVED them! But then the next time I went for them, they mysteriously had “dairy” on the ingredient label – didn’t the time previous – so I was so sad!!
