Well, I’m 32 weeks pregnant today, and Michael and I had a very good appointment with our doctor this morning. I’ll share all of the fun details tomorrow!
For today, I’m going to share what I bought at Trader Joe’s this week- which is still fun but not nearly as exciting…at least not to me. (As always, these are items purchased in addition to my weekly staples.)
Honey wheat pretzels (for Michael’s lunches and random waves of morning sickness)
Crunchy granola bars (not the best breakfast in the world but great for Michael before work)
Dried apricots
Chives (for a new recipe I’m trying later this week)
Black olives
Black beans
Whole corn kernels (love throwing these in salads)
Cherries
Organic maple agave syrup blend
Ground pepper
Sprouted tofu (I’ve been craving tofu lately. Who craves tofu? So weird…)
Dr. Praeger’s California veggie burgers
Nature’s Path gluten-free waffles
Marinated rosemary chicken (We’ll see how this compares to my Nana’s rosemary chicken!)
I actually bought the waffles at Harris Teeter simply because they were on sale, but I had to include them because they are so good! I was actually really surprised that I liked them so much.
Michael needs to cut gluten out of his diet, and I’m hoping that he likes these too.
Whole Foods just opened up in Charlotte, and I’d dying to go there. Once the crowds die down, you can expect a Whole Foods haul for certain.
Have you tried any new healthy foods lately? Please share!
