Tornado Warning

Breakfast

Despite having a very busy past couple of days with my Canadian Therapeutic Riding Association technical, I still had to get up bright and early this morning to go to work. Fortunately, it was at the barn so it wasn't the worst way to spend my Sunday!

I brought a lunch with me along with a peanut butter banana protein smoothie for breakfast.



Lunch

I forgot to snap photos during lunch at work, so I'll just have to tell you about what I ate. I had a hard boiled egg, some raw veggies with dip, an apple and a few chocolate treats. It wasn't an extremely exciting lunch, so you didn't miss much!

Afternoon Snack

Casey and I headed out to pick up some groceries after my shift at work. I ended up picking up a small handful of dark chocolate almonds from the bulk section to enjoy on our car ride home. They were incredible!


Dinner

When we got home, we made some buffalo chicken wings for dinner with steamed green beans on the side. The wings weren't terrible, but they weren't the best. They were a little greasy and I would have preferred them with a little bit of breading to add a bit of crispiness to the wings. Oh well, maybe next time!



Tornado Warning

Just after we had finished up dinner, we noticed the skies turning strange colours. We looked online and saw that we were in the middle of a Tornado Warning! The storm turned out to be pretty mild considering what would have been, but it was still pretty wicked to watch!




Fortunately, we were fine and most of the storm had died down by the time it reached us. We just got a lot of rain and wind instead!

Workout

I finished up the night by revisiting my very first GPP workout...minus the running component (gym was closed and it was pouring rain outside)! I completed the Dalton+ Workout and felt amazing afterward!
